1. Stop location sharing immediately
- Open GPS Tracker Family Location.
- Open Settings.
- Turn off Location sharing.
- You can also tap “Stop sharing” in the persistent Android notification or remove location permission in Android Settings.
This stops future location updates from the device. It does not by itself erase information already retained in cloud history.
2. Clear information stored on your device
In the app, open Settings → Privacy and data → Clear cached location. You may also use Android Settings → Apps → GPS Tracker Family Location → Storage → Clear storage to remove all app data on that device.
3. Delete account and cloud data in the app
- Open GPS Tracker Family Location.
- Open Settings → Privacy and data.
- Choose “Delete account and cloud data.”
- Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
The app immediately requests deletion of the account, registered device, family relationships, and associated cloud location records. The local session is then removed from the device.
4. Request deletion without the app
Send an email to developer@moonspace.work with the subject “GPS Tracker Data Deletion.” Use the email associated with your request and include your in-app user code if available. Do not send a password, precise location, government identifier, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
5. What may be retained
After verification, we delete or de-identify data associated with the account, including cloud location history and circle relationships. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial records, or legal obligations. Residual encrypted backups are removed through the normal backup rotation cycle.
6. What deletion changes
- Approved members will no longer receive new location updates.
- Circle invitations and relationships associated with the account are removed.
- Location history associated with the deleted account becomes unavailable.
- A new account will not automatically restore deleted information.
